Problem installing Lexmark x4975 printer on Fedora 10 using Dell Inspiron 1720

I am new to Linux having just recently installed Fedora 10 on my Dell Inspiron 1720. I bought a Lexmark x4975 wireless printer which comes with an installation disk for windows and Mac only. Any ideas how I can install the printer on my linux setup?

Unfortunately Lexmark printers are not linux friendly. A quick search did not find any support for your printer.

Lexmark, CUPS

Thanks for the responses.

The printer is WIFI not bluetooth ie it operates via my wireless router from any PC set up to use it. I currently have Windows and MAC pcs working with this printer thanks to a Lexmark setup disk and gui (which won't run on Linux).

CUPS sees it as a 4900 series printer but cannot provide the correct driver. I get as far as the print test page but nothing happens at the printer.

I have tried this with both wireless and usb connectivity without success.
