By fluke I found a link, which was a little bit hidden acutally, using your goolge link.
Google found the following link among others:
I have installed it. And it seems to work. I printed the Cups test page and a letter from Open Office.
A big thankyou to Adam Bocim from Czechia for wrintig this driver!!!!
Try upgrading to min12xxw 0.0.5 - it appears to be a fork of min1200w (well, it didn't actually WORK until the developer studied how min1200w worked, and added that in), but it's supposed to be MUCH faster. http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_pr...-PagePro_1200W has PPDs, and http://www.hinterbergen.de/mala/min12xxw/ is the driver. I'm using it with a 1250W, and it works great at 600x600 (haven't tried 1200x600, 1200x1200 is a banded mess, 300x300 w/ Toner Saver has bad moire and looks like I used a dot matrix (then again, it's more like 300x150 when Toner Saver is on)
Hi all,
Just had a frustrating 2 days trying to get to print from my workstation to a samba file server attached with a Minolta 1200W. On the server, it is able to print, using the drivers as advised by linuxprinting.org...
In fact, there's 2 more Windows machine in the network printing to it perfectly. But my Linux workstations can see the Samba print share, but unable to print. I've also loaded the same drivers onto the workstation, but when it just gets stuck there. On the server, I can see it trying to print the TestPrint, but it just doesn't get to print out.
Appreciate advise as my workstation is crippled without the ability to print.
