Printer/scanner server

I have troble with my new brother dcp 117c. I cant get the scanner working since drivers are none existant. So I thougt of a printer/scanner server with opendarwin as base since the drivers exists for mac. Has anyone done it? What would be the problems? Maybe this could turn into a new distro?

Dcp-117c

I have SuSe 10.2 and driver is MFC210C, check this site:

http://openprinting.org/show_printer...rother-DCP117C

I got my brother DCP-117C printing when I installed MFC210Clpr-1.0.2-1 and cupswrapperMFC210C-1.0.0-1 packages, but I haven't yet figured how I get scanner work.
