Lightbulb PNY USB Card Reader

Hey all,

Just wanted to report for those looking for a SD Card Reader.
Two weeks ago when I bought my new Kodak DX6340 digital camera [lovin' it] I also picked up the PNY USB 1.1 Card Reader and have been using it on my windows gaming machine because I did not know if it worked in linux.

Well happy to report it works flawlessly in linux. Took about 30 seconds to setup in Mandrake 9.1 as well.
Just used Kwikdisk and it found it and set up an icon on my desktop now I just click it to get my pics.

Plus there is a $10 rebate on the card reader thru I think 8/5 or something @ best buy.

It has been along time since you made your post...but it is the only reference I can find here for the Kodak DX6340. I was wondering if you got it working in Linux with the USB cable provided. I have been trying for a bit but cant figure it out. All programs simply crash when they try to access the camera.

nope, I have not even tried to be honest.
I simply put the SD card in the card reader and go that route.
