PCMIA Modem/Net card

Hi all, first post. Been reading most of the day.

I decided last night (late as always) to take my 760XL Thinkpad and install Linux on it. After many hours at the keyboard, I have it installed and it works just fine. There are two issues that I have. One is the PCMIA modem/lan card. How do I get Linux to recognize the card? I don't remember seeing anything in the setup where it looked for a modem.

Update: Modem dials out, but will not connect. Back to the search button...lol
