PCI controller resource conflict error on startup

Hi folks,
I have a HP Compaq Presario V5000 laptop that I've installed Ubuntu 10.4 onto.
I'm not sure if the problem I have is related to the Linux OS or not, but On boot up, it beeps twice and two error messages pop up stating:

ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI Network Controller in slot 03
Bus:06, Device:02, Function:00
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI Network Controller in slot 04
Bus:06, Device:06, Function:00

I can press F1 and continue or enter BIOS settings. If I continue, all is ok but no wireless or ethernet functions.
This happened occasionally at first, but now it is always.
I purchased a USB wirless network adapter and get Internet fine, but wonder if this problem could be corrected by changing BIOS settings.

Kernel is: 2.6.32-27-generic (via "uname -r")

"lspci" gives:

Hi,
which is the brand of our wireless and ethernet card? Have you tried to boot disabling just one of the 2 integrated card? Also, could you please post full output of your dmesg?

Try moving the cards. Look at bios for reset of settings.

I think believe these are the wireless and ethernet card brands:
Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)

I have tried removing the wireless card and then only get the one error, but both errors return when card re-installed

Here is the output of the dmesg command:

"Try moving the cards. Look at bios for reset of settings."

I will, but not sure how to do that, I have removed the wireless card but I'm not sure how to locate the ethernet card or how to move them, or where to move them.
As for the bios, all I find regarding networks when choosing "F10 for setup is an option to enable or disable wireless".

If someone knows where to navigate to "reset bios settings" please let me know and I'll try that.
Thanks for the assistance so far.

ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI Network Controller in slot 04
Bus:06, Device:06, Function:00

This is the problem. No need to post anything more.

As you can see slot 3 and slot 4 have some issue. See web pages on how to select slot 3 and 4. Move them around or take one out.
