I am running Ubuntu 10.04 but I am new to Linux. Lately, I've been trying to set up my old printer on this machine (the printer is HP LaserJet 6mp) and it requires a Parallel Port. I set up the parallel port from BIOS but I'm not sure if I did it right because when I try to print something, it shows in the Manage Print Jobs that the job was completed but nothing was printed. The printer shows up and I have the HPLIP installed, but this is still happening. Could anyone please help me?
