Old Epson on Slackware

I have an old Epson 600 in the loft somewhere, would this printer be easy/work on slackware 10.1?

I think (from memory) the printer is USB

would it be worth digging it out, or shall I leave it up there? :lol

CUPS appears to support the Epson Stylus Color 600
Is that the one?
Looks like other Epsons start at 700 if it isn't
