nVidia tv out nvtv


has anyone gotten nvtv to work with geeforce4 ti 4600?? and is it possible to have my monitor at 1 resolution lets say 1024x786 and my tv at 800x600?

Not completely sure here with the ti 4600, but i think just enabling tv out in your XF86Config should work fine as well - if you have the nvidia drivers installed. Don't think you need nvtv.

Edit** - should also mention all of the info you need is in the Nvidia readme in the Linux driver section on nvidia's website. And yes, you can have 2 different resolutions going but only one will display OpenGL - like if you start a game or something like that. Otherwise, it's just 2 monitors using TwinView.
