nomad jukebox and kionjb

every time i try to compile kionjb it goes great until i get this error
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

does anybody konw what this means and how i can fix it.
i have been trying to get my nomad to work for a long time but have never successfully done it.

thanks a million

I had the same thing happening to me , I have installed the devel versions for kdebase3 and kdelibs3 and all was fine.
but now I have a question for any of you out there... it is hours I am trying to make kionjb work but the 0.2.0-st version tells me
----------------
checking for ID3Tag_New in -lid3... yes
checking for sqlite_open in -lsqlite... no
configure: error: kionjb requires libsqlite
linux:/plus/kionjb-0.2.0-st #
----------------
and the 0.0.7 version configures but at the make I get :
----------------
libtool: link: warning: library `/usr/local/lib/libnjb.la' was moved.
libtool: link: warning: library `/usr/local/lib/libnjb.la' was moved.
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.1/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lkio
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [kio_njb.la.closure] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/plus/kionjb-0.0.7/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/plus/kionjb-0.0.7'
make: *** [all] Error 2
---------------

but I have sqlite and sqlite-devel installed and libsqlite

as for the other, the libs ARE there and no one moved them, PLEASE HELP

Thanks guys
Maurizio
PS there is only one thing that kills me about linux: its dependences

Have you figured it out? I have same error, but it inot sqlite it is looking for. It is the kde libs it is looking for.

Take a look at the post I started, if you figured this out, post your solution for me.
