No Sound - CentOS 5

I've set up a new computer and have been having issues getting the sound to work.

I am using on-board sound with an Asus P7P55-M motherboard.

Under the Audio Configuration window there are 2 cards listed.

Nvidia - nVidia Corporation Unknown device 0be3
Intel - Intel Corporation Ibex Peak High Definition Audio

ALSA Driver verion: 1.0.14rc3
ALSA Lib package: alsa-lib-1.0.17-1.el5
ALSA Utils package: alsa-utils-1.0.17-1.el5

lspci returns that the audio device is the unknown Nvidia. Is there a way to get the drivers for this device? Google is just pointing me towards Windows drivers, even though they say support for Linux.

Edit: I believe that the Nvidia device may be the HDMI port on the graphics card, that part can be ignored. The Intel device should be giving out the sound but it is not. Is there any way to test it?

This is listed under lsmod. When I modprobe for it nothing is returned.
