I have no audio when I use the cdrom.
I am using Fedora2 with a cmedia 8738 sound card and an ECS k7sem m/b. When the sounf card is detected, I hear the test audio clip. I can even hear sound when the source is a file from the internet. When I put an audio cd in the drive, the cd will play, but I get no sound. Where do I need to start looking for a resoluyion?
I ran the aumix utility and set levels from 0 to 100.
From shell type "aumix". This will bring up various features to adjust. Use arrow keys to selet function and level.
Hit "s" to save changes and 'q' to quit.
Hooking up the CDROM to the sound card was helpfull as well.
