Nios Development


Has anyone use Nios Development Board, Stratix Professional Edition or any edition? if so what software can I use for Linux to develop in Nios? the software i've seen for windows is called Quartus II Design Software, is there any other hardware design products for linux? Thanks.

Did you check out the third party tools.

Altera does offer Quartus II for Linux.

I've been using Quartus II for a few months now to design digital solutions. I have not yet worked with Nios and Embedded Linux, although I do have a copy of Nios II. I hope to be experimenting with embedded Linux soon.
