hi, im running suse 9.2, and i have a ati 9800pro agp 128, and i have reciently downloaded the latest ati drivers from their web site and ran the rpm just like the website says; rpm <filename> -Uhv that ran fine but now when i try and but into X it messes up this is my XFree config file;

Don't worry about the "no device found" warning, your card has dual output and you only have one monitor plugged in so it's normal that it will find no device for one of the outputs, ...and agp devices have PCI budID since agp is on the PCI bus.

The only problem shown by your log is the "Keyboard" driver that you need to change to either "keyboard" or "kbd" in your config file.

Only other thing is that you don't mention using the --force switch when you installed the rpm, usually it is required so the install will overwrite Xorg's libGL.so.1.2
...but I haven't used them in rpm form in ages and that might have changed.

Yes, under the Section "InputDevice" for your keyboard, change Driver "Keyboard" to Driver "kbd"

That should rid you of the showstopping error you have, now will X start, it could but it's Ati we're talking about here, nothing is easy, let's just say it will get you further in your quest for an accelerated X server.
