New Hardisk or hardware probing problem in fedora11

I installed fedora11 with 5 Nos Modular bay with SATA harddsik. when the Windows XP OS is working or ON ,i can remove and insert the SATA harddisk . But When i installed Modular bay with SATA hardisk on Fedora 11 it is detecting when booting linux. When the OS is working i can remove the harddisk but when i insert new harddisk it is not detecting. I tried with Kudzu. But Kudzu is not available in fedora 11. i installed Kudzu but it is not working in fedora11. Any body know how to linux detect my SATA Harddisk when the OS is working.

As root

Code:
start_udev
I hope you umount those disks before removing them.

does it show up in the list when you run :

Code:
fdisk -l
Are you expecting it just to work and be automounted when you plug it in ? It depends on what drivers you use for the sata controller. Not all controllers support hotplug.
