I've recently aquired a Gateway DestinationTV Box http://configurator.oempcworld.com/r...c&modelid=6051. It is an older box and specs are at the lower end of MythTV's requirements http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-3.html. All I want to do is record one stream at a time (possibly while watching TV). So, my question is twofold:
1- Is this box capable of running MythTV (again recording one stream at a time is fine)
2- Has anyone gotten MythTV to work on this box before?

BTW: I'm fine with the response (based on its specifications) that it isn't worth it. I'm just curious to see if it can be done and if it is worth it (versus just building a new system).

Also, one of the biggest things that attracted me to it is the several audio/video in/out ports on the back.

I think the question is more: does video4linux support it?
you should check out their website to see what support is like for that box. if they support it you should be able to use it in mythtv no problem. easiest way to see is to plug it in and fire it up.
