Red face my lan interface is not installed in fedora 5

Dear All

I am using Fedora Core 5. And not found any ethernet interface though on same pc if I log on to WINDOWS OS it gets the lan interface.

From Fedora Core 5 if I press "mii-tool" it says no interfaces found.

How can I be sure that lan module is installed or not ? If not installed how can I install that module ?

Fedora core 5 is ancient. The latest version is 9, I'd suggest downloading it. FC5 probably doesn't recognize the newer hardware, but FC9 will.

Also, you don't say anything about your hardware or what kind of interface it is....hard to tell you what module(s) you need.
