My DVDRom umounts by itself on Ubuntu 6.10

Hello there!

I've just bought a brand new Benq DVD-RW. I was using Windows XP and it went very very well... No problem until now... I killed XP and now i'm just with Ubuntu Edgy...

Buuuuuuuuut... When I insert a DVD on the drive, it mount automatically....
5 minutes after it umounts automatically too!!!

Have someone experienced or heard about it?!

Thank you very much!

Regards,
MewRS

There is a tool called automount, which might be the culprit. And then it might be handled through udev. See:

http://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/util...tplug/udev-FAQ
http://www.reactivated.net/writing_udev_rules.html

or
Code:
man automount
man automount.conf
man udev
man udevd
man udev.conf
