Angry multi-view w/ FX 5600 On SuSe

I'm currently running SuSe 8.2, after i find my disks for 9.0 i'll go back to it. but i've tried the new Mandrake as well and all had pretty much the same results. My video card is a basic Geforce4 FX5600 256mb with VIVO(video in/video out). I'm not new to linux, but i've never looked to online fourms for help, or had this much problem. My delima is trying to get my multi-view to work on my card. When i power on the system the video card automatically starts up in dual view with my CRT monitor and my composite/svideo television. Linux boot's up and goes into runlevel 3 with both displays running. But, once i try to enter runlevel 5, or start X or even Xconfigurator, my second display to my TV shuts off and only my CRT will display. I can't figure out how to set up my settings for my TV correctly probably. even when i go back into init 3 or kill X, or even switch back into text mode, the TV won't come back on, sometimes in text mode you'll see it scroll horizontaly really fast on my TV, like the sync's are incorrect. Hmm, not sure what other information to include. I appreciate your help, let me know. And i apollogize if this summary's confusing, i'm not too great with the words.
