mount error after trying to use another extra harddisk in system suse9.3

i tried to use a old harddisk in my system so i hooked it up
formatted and i probably changed the mount point from hda/hda1 to hdb/hb1

now i cant start my system. how can i restore this ? anyone suggestions

- using yast in normal mode will work maybe but what do i need to configure right again. what to do and how ? my system give me errors like

any help ?

Your original hard disk(the one that has your OS installed on it) would probably have been detected as hda, and it would've been mounted at "/". Now to mount the second hard disk you would create a mountpoint somewhere on the filesystem, such as /mnt/hd2. Then you mount the second hard disk there. The second hard disk might have been detected as hdb, if there were no other hard disks in the machine.
