Monitor Troubles (Ric Model 770)

I installed Suse 9.0 personal edition all went well except for config on my monitor. I know where to make the changes but I cannot find info on this monitor. It is a Ric Model 770.
I need the correct Horizontal and vertical settings. I did a search and found about 5 different rates listed for a 770 monitor but none for that monitor (Ric).
I am a linux noob so any help is better than none. I tried sax2 but could not come up with a good setting. Is there another config program to run that may help? First install left me at the login with a blank screen. I checked Monitor World to no avail.

TIA
RLange

No. With SuSE sax2 is it.

I once had a Compaq monitor that I could not find the settings for. I took the cover off and found that the monitor was assembled at a Sony plant in Mexico. I used the equivalent Sony settings and it worked. So take the cover off of your monitor and see who really made it.
