i have me a OLD, 27 year old crt monitor, Gateway2000 vivitron 1572 and today i started to notice as if the image/picture is going back INTO the monitor . like going away from the computer user. right now there is about 1 or 2 pixels of movement on the screen that makes the picture shift. im pretty sure that it will die by the end of the month. so im looking at a new lsd monitor ( hehe i made a funny). is this a decent monitor?
dude we like close together.......... but i have no problem with a 15 inch. hey since i have 4 virtual desktops , whats to lose.... right now on the broken monitor its 15 inches and i love it ....well except for the stupid screen shrinking..... also one quick question? do lcd monitors do wierd crap like a crt when a cell phone is in use? my nextel will make the sides slightly shimmer and on my friends computer, his cingular phone will make the screen go black, and flicker, and screen shrinking.
No, LCDs generally do not suffer from interference by cell phones. The RF waves from a cell phone can cause disruption to the magnetic field inside a CRT (which is used to direct the rays)
