Monitor calibration under Linux

I was reading this article, and trying to calibrate my monitor. I have a question though. It says to set the colour temperature to 6500K. My monitor only has the predefined values of 9300K (R:85, G:91, B:100), 7500K (R:92, G:90, B:100) and 5500K (R:100, G:92, B:78).

Is it possible to calculate the RGB values for 6500K ?

dunno but its easy to calibrate rgb scale using KDE control centre and have those values added to your xorg.conf file if you like them.
