Mobo problem = "Initializing Cryptographic API"
Just built a new pc. Everything is recognized and all seems normal until I try to install Linux. This pc is an Athlon 64 running on an Asus K8V deluxe mobo. I've tried Mdk10/AMD64, Suse, and even Phlak. The install goes smoothly until I hit a message that reads "Initializing Cryptographic API" and at that point it just sits there. Nada. Zilch. Anyone have any idea what "Initializing Cryptographic API" is? Is it a mobo setting I have missed? Other components are 512 mb Crucial memory (passed memtest), Gforce 5600 128mb, two brand new WD 160gb hds. Anyone have a clue or solution to this problem? Note: I do not own a copy of dos or windblows to try. (yeah, as if I really wanted to try them! lol)
