Missing header files installing soundcard on Knoppix 3.3
Good evening, everybody
I'm trying to installing a Riptide soundcard (combo Chameleon, integrated with a Conexant HSF modem) so I downloaded the proper drivers from linuxant.com. The first one, the HSF driver, installed as a .DEB package and everything went right. The second one, source in tarball, is the Riptide Audio Driver. When it installs it asks for the build source directory; which appear to be /lib/modules/2.4.22-xfs (running kernel 2.4.22-xfs); but it fails in the compiling of the kernel modules. This is the following return:
rm -f *.o *.a
* compiling (gcc-2.95) int_mdl.c
* compiling (gcc-2.95) rp_cmdif.c
* compiling (gcc-2.95) linux.c
> linking kernel module riptideint.o
* compiling (gcc-2.95) rt_mdl.c
rt_mdl.c:55: ../drivers/sound/sound_config.h: No such file or directory
rt_mdl.c:56: ../drivers/sound/opl3.h: No such file or directory
rt_mdl.c:58: ../drivers/sound/mpu401.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [rt_mdl.o] Error 1
It seems to be that files "sound_config.h" "opl3.h" and "mpu401.h" are missing, so my questions are the following:
1) Are they really missing? If no, ¿where are they?!
2) If they are missing, can I download them? I tried finding in debian packages (debian.org/distrib/packages) but I can't find anything
3) Is there any other driver for this soundcard?!
Thank you very much.
