Hello, I'm installing my alcatel speedtouch usb modem on my pc (mandrake 10.0). I need the mgmt.0 file from Alcatel. The file is temporarily unavailable on the site of alcatel. Can someone send me this file or give me a valid link to find it?
I have 2 files for the modem on my cd-rw. One file shoud be copied to usr/share/speedtouch and the other file should be put on a floppy. When I try this as a user, I get the message 'Acces denied'. If I log in as root, I can't mount the CD-Rom.
Not sure why you can't mount the cd-rom as root, but why don't you copy it off the CD to the user's directory, then log in as root and copy it from the users directory to /where/ever/it/is/supposed/to/go? Good luck!
