Angry Memory problems

Hi,
I have a thinkpad 600x, and in the process of trying to install Red Hat 9 I found I have some bad memory. What's really bad is it's in the 64M on-board chip. Is there some way to tell linux to start using memory at given address ie. after the bad address? I'm new to linux, and would like to get my computer running soon. Thanks

you can specify an amount.

depending on how much is ruined you migh try:
Linux: linux mem=64

replacing 64 with the amount you think might be under or above the "address" .
or whatever.
