Angry making my wpc11 nic work on mandrake 9.2


i am the biggest nub there is using linux. i am very new and installed it today on another partition. i am on a laptop and i use my internet away from my router so i use a wpc11 wireless b network card ver 4 made by linksys. when i go into the place for adding new hardware or whatever it is refered to it cant find a driver (driver right? whatever its called )for it. any info on how to get linux to install it is accepted.

Being i think that card runs on prism2.. the easiest thing to do would be to download knoppix-std, its a cd-distro unfortunatly.. but you can install to the harddrive.. for, the basic windows user switching to nix you can use it when you want.. and if not just take the cd out and boot to windows. anyway std comes with all the shit you need.. like the prism2 modules in the kernel and also some cool wireless tools.. it can be found at www.knoppix-std.org
