Exclamation M-Audio fast-track pro

Hi LQ!
I have a usb fast track m-audio on a debian lenny 2.6.26-1-686 . I have also integrated in the mother board Hewlett-Packard 085Ch , Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz , an intel 82801EB/ER ac'97 audio controller and that's the only audio device alsaconf sees on launch . I want to , offcourse , listen , instead , to the M-audio fast track which it's seen by lshw perfectly:
Code:
                   description: Audio device
                   product: FastTrack Pro
                   vendor: M-Audio
                   physical id: 2
                   bus info: usb@2:2
                   version: 1.00
                   capabilities: usb-1.10 audio-control
                   configuration: maxpower=200mA speed=12.0MB/s
and lsusb:
Code:
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0763:2012 Midiman
I also tried ,in the computer Bios, to deactivate the integrated audio, but the ethernet device also stopped working ... and alsaconf doesn't see any audio interface.Alsa it's the only way still i know to configure audio , what else ???
