Thanks for building that file for us, its the only one I can find for MDK 2.6.8.1-12

Im having a problem when I try to install it:

After I extract the files I do this:

[root@localhost david]# cd /root
[root@localhost root]# killall -HUP devfsd
devfsd: no process killed
[root@localhost root]# depmod -a
[root@localhost root]# modprobe ltserial
FATAL: Module ltserial not found.

I get the FATAL: Module ltserial not found.

Can you help me?

This is using the 2.6.8.1-12 drivers from the russian website for Mandrake.

Thanks,
IceDark

Some corrections to HOWTO install modem driver:

in HOW2:

modprobe ltserial

but it should be:

modprobe lt_serial

Thanks to IceDark.

Has anyone got a fix for when KPPP says Initializing Modem... and never initializes? I've tried increasing pre and post-init delays as in the KDE help, but that doesn't work. Any ideas are welcomed.
