Logitech Multimedia keys don't generate scancodes

I'm running Slackware 10.1 with a 2.6..11 kernel. I have a Logitech Cordless Freedom keyboard. Seems to have the same keys as the Inernet Navigator keyboard, but it's cordless. For some reason, 6 of the extra keys (wheel click, Finance, My Sites, Community, iTouch, Shopping) don't generate scancodes. I've run 'showkey -s' at a terminal and absolutely nothing happens when I press these keys.

They all work under windows. I ran xev under cygwin to check. They gave funny results, but they worked.

Any help would be appreciated. Meantime, I'm gonna start binding the keys that do work.

Logitech website & 'rotsa ruck'... Logitech seems to be good peoples, but would bet a buck they don't care about Linux much. I might be wrong!

And maybe someone else who actually knows what the smell ther're doing has another (good!) solution.

Luck!!,
