I'm using a logitec cordless as well and have no probs. I just configured my keyboard the same way for anyother and my mouse as a wheel mouse (Microsoft Intellimouse) and all's well. I've done the same with several different distro's and never had a problem other than the battery running out :-) but that's the joy of cordless.

I don't know enough about Suse to comment specifically on conf so can't help you there.

Lightbulb NeXX Tech

I recently purchased a NeXX Tech cordless keyboard and mouse. This set, for the most part, is similar to the Logitech keyboard and mouse. When I configured the keyboard, I first started with the A How-To for Logitech Multimedia Keys. This was very helpful in understanding the steps to take in manually setting it up, however the keys provided did not cover them all. At this point I started to manually configure the other keys. While doing this I adventured into the KDE Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Layouts, and tried several different keyboard layouts. The one that matched my keyboard, for the most part, was Microsoft Natural Pro. This setting covered all of the keys except "Power" and "Wake Up".

As for the mouse, in order for me to activate the wheel scroll properly I had to enter Sax2 and set the checkbox for "Wheel Mouse", and I also deactivated the third mouse button emulation. Using Sax2 is a pain because it wanted me to resetup all components. Since I am using SuSE 8.1 this may not apply to SuSE 9.0 and 8.2.

I hope this will help ...
