linux hack for Quick Cam

that sez it all. camorama clicked in on Ubuntu works flawlessly.
precisely, step by step how do i make this happen under redhat's most "bleeding edge" Core 5? half the 3rd party stuff is junk under this OS. i need help to turn this into something usefull. not junk.
please help. i'm ready to toss FC5 into the garbage where is seems to belong. i was SO impressed at first. not now.
help!

go to sourceforge, there is a project with a driver for the logitech quickcam. I have used it on fedora (4) and it works well.

FC5 is not junk, it's free, and redhat hates licensing problems and battles, so they stay out of that and mp3's, so you have to do it yourself. FC5 works great for me.
