These links really helped me. I got them from coindood. Follow the instructions exactly and search around if you have any problems because the answer to just about any question you have is on this forum.

Hi,

I've had problems getting a Linksys wireless card working in the past due to its Broadcomm chipset, for which there wasn't/ aren't? any drivers avaliable for from Linksys.

Although you may be able to make it work using the NDIS wrapper, it might be easier to ditch that Linksys card and buy a card which is better supported by Linux...

first of all go into control center and make sure that the ssid is set to "linksys" or whatever u hav goin on there. just to be sure that worked go into terminal and su and type "iwconfig" and see if it piks up the correct information. if not then thye iwconfig wlan0 essid (name of essid without parenthesis here) where wlan0 is the name of your wireless card

if still not able to get it to work go in terminal and su type killall dhcpcd when thats done type "dhcpcd -d wlan0" (where wlan 0 is the name of your networking card)

hope this helps and happy linuxing!
