Hi there, I recently switched to linux as my full time OS on my Sony Vaio laptop.
I know this has been asked other times, but none of the situations seem to quite fit.
My battery life running linux is awful. I can get 15 to 20 minutes out of it tops. I know the battery and the bay are ok. I just recently switched from windows, with no problems from the battery.
In a nutshell, its user error and not hardware error
When I ran windows, I had all the power saving modes I could get my hands on turned off. Were there cetain power saving features that windows wasn't telling me about that I would need to configure in linux?
thanks for your time,
Tinesthai
