Kubuntu not detecting my USB printer
I had my Samsung ML-2010 installed and working.
Then my brother 'borrowed' my computer.
when I got back onto it I found that he'd deleted my printer. No problem, just set it up again.
Unfortunately, nothing's ever that simple.
the KDE print manager won't show my printer. Normally, it's on the USB tree. Now, nothing.
I checked the cable, power-cycled the printer, power cycled my box. Nothing.
Can anyone help me understand this mess?
No, It's not urgent, I don't think I really need the printer for a few weeks but it's bugging me.
BTW: The printer is in the HCL, it even said Linux compatible on the box.
