Kernel config with a celeron mendocino

Just curious. I've got a celeron 433 (Mendocino) processor. I've been compiling my kernel with the Celeron (Coppermine) option. Having looked around on google, I found some srot of vague reference to the mendocino using P2 commands. Is that right? Do I compile my kernel with Pentium 2 support?

i also have this 433 cpu and have compiled several times from 2.4.18 to 22. I always compile only 586 into the kernel and almost all the rest as modules. No issues have come up regards to celeron-it always gets detected .

Yeah I've never really had problems either but I was wondering if there was a more optimal solution. Is your chip a mendocino, btw?
