ITERAID Module Troubles

Okay, just installed an ITE 8212F Raid controller. Downloaded the driver module from ite.com compiled successfully, and insmoded successfully (insmod -v iteraid comes up with no errors).

The only catch to this is that as soon as I load that module, I start getting zeros printed out to the screen. As soon as the module is loaded I get 14 pages of zeros, and every time I access the drives mounted to the controller I get at least a couple of zeros echoed out.

I don't get these zeros remotely, SSHd in, but I get them on any local terminal. The drives are perfectly usable, but the zeros are driving me crazy. Anybody got any idea how I can make it all go away?

Sorry, forgot to post, but this is on Slackware 10.

The drives on the ITE controller are not boot drives, just additional storage.
