Intel 536EP under Gentoo 2005.0

Hi
I am using Intel 536EP modem and this modem was working very well under Gentoo 2004.2 (by using driver "intel-536ep-4.69.tgz"). When I upgraded Gentoo to 2005.0, my modem stopped working (this driver is not useful under gentoo 2005.0). I searched and found that the driver "intel-536ep-4.69.1.tgz" will work for my modem under gentoo 2005.0, but when I try to install the driver of modem, it gives error; "error unknown 2.6.11-gentoo-r3". Can anyone tell me that how can I make my modem working under Gentoo 2005.0.
Thanks
