installing linuxant drivers ofr broadcom ww450 wireless 54g card on compaq 2580us

Hello,

I have downloaded the bcmwl5driverloader software for red hat 9.0 i686, to
install a broadcom w450 wireless 54g card, from http://www.linuxant.com. So I did:

rpm -Uvh bcmwl5driverloader-1.05_k2.4.20_20.9-1rh.i686.rpm

which brings up some configuration script. I am then asked to go to:

http://localhost:18020/ or http://dhcp-89-60.slac.stanford.edu:18020/

So I do that and get forwarded to: (after being asked for root password)

http://dhcp-89-60.slac.stanford.edu:...bin/config.cgi

which does absolutely nothing (visible anyway). The installation
instructions on your page say just go here too. I also tried looking at
the page source and there is nothing there. Is what I am doing correct? If
not, how do I install the drivers? If what I do is correct what has
happened to the webpage?

btw isnt this a security risk typing my root password into a password promt?

Is there anywhere else to get these drivers from (I vaguley heard hp is working on them, but wont release them yet)

Thanks,

Mark.

I had to put the bcmwl5.sys and bcmwl5.inf files in the /var/lib/bcmwl5driverloader directory and run bcmwl5config. After that I had the opportunity to enter my e-mail address and license code. Then bcmwl5config --info showed that my card was installed. Unfortunately I can't pick up any wireless networks so far. I feel like I'm very close to linux wireless salvation but require more wisdom.
