Smile Install Red Hat 7.3 on Flash Disk

Hello all,

I am trying to install Linux Red Hat 7.3 in a Flash Disk Ultra Wide SCSI 3.5” from MSystems (FFD35US-4096-P80).
The disk is attached to a standard Intel server with LSI 53C1030 SCSI controller.

The disk is set up by the BIOS and the operating system.
The RH 7.3 is installed but when I try to boot I get the following error and the system does not boot:

SCSI host 0 channel 0 reset (pid 0) time out - trying harder
SCSI bus is being reset fot host 0 channel 0
mptscsih: oldreset scheduling BUS_RESET (sc=f7dd1600)
Ios outstanding = 1
SCSI host 0 reset (pid 0) time out again -
probably an unrecoverable SCSI BIS or device hang
mptbase: Initiating ioc0 recovery
SCSI host 0 reset (pid 2) time out again -
probably an unrecoverable SCSI BIS or device hang

Any suggestions can help me

Thank you very much

Felipe

start by using a distro that isn't obselete... might be a good angle as you seem to be having hardware support issues.
