I had sound before but now nothing ... no sound when I open and close my linux... no sound from my CD music. I have make update to my Mandriva LE 2005...
What sound card do you have? Check the mixer settings via kmix or similar to make sure you don't just need the volumes adjusting after updating. What distro were you running previously and did you have to load any modules manually to get it going?
