This message is repeated ~20 times during startup, ~120 times during shutdown.

Code:
usb 1-2.2: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 126
hub 1-2:1.0 Cannot enable port 2.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?
hub 1-2:1.0 Cannot enable port 2.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?
hub 1-2:1.0 Cannot enable port 2.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?

usb 1-2.2: device descriptor read/64, error -7
  1. Message appears regardless of whether the USB plug has anything attached during startup or shutdown.
  2. The USB slot functions fine with various devices I have tried, but it sure doesn't look like other USB plugs in other computers I have seen.

Is there some way I can determine which place on the computer this hub1-2:1.0, port 2?
