HP ScanJet 5300 + Debian
Hello,
I have a problem with my HP ScanJet 5300 on Debian.
With the command sane-find-scanner I found the scanner and also with the scanimage -L.
But when I start the command scanimage -T I get this error message:
scanimage: received signal 2
scanimage: trying to stop scanner
scanimage: scanning image of size 2544x3489 pixels at 24 bits/pixel
scanimage: acquiring RGB frame, 8 bits/sample
scanimage: reading one scanline, 7632 bytes... *FAIL Error: Error during
device I/O
After this I can't never found the scanner with sane-find-scanner and scanimage -L.
Can somebody help me ? I have already "googled" a lot but I haven't found a solution.
In /proc/bus/usb/devices the scanner gives me the following informations:
