Bluetooth internal adapters are usually installed on your wifi card. If you disable your wifi card, you will have disabled bluetooth, however, I suspect that is not what you want.

You should be able to soft block it. There are commands to do it. See this link:

-->https://www.pcsuggest.com/linux-blue...hcitool-bluez/

rfkill list will tell you what bluetooth devices it can see. Look at the man page for rfkill, to block, or unblock a device.

You can also isolate the firmware files and rename them

It appears to disable just Bluetooth is not possible. Therefore, I'd suggest disabling the internal and going with an external USB WiFi adapter, like a Alfa. I've been using one for years with an old Dell on which I disabled the wifi card.

Sometimes we cannot have our cake and eat it, too. (One reason I stick with old cheap laptops).

Personally, I don't think Bluetooth & wifi are always o the same card. They're separate stuff. My wifi shows under 'lspci' and bluetooth shows under lsusb.

Agreed, on my desktop they are separate, on my laptop they are on the same card. It's a matter of economics, laptop makers will shave pennies off any device to save space and money.
