Would like to know how to use a hp_Scanjet G2710
with openSuSE 10.3 :: The scanner connects via USB ::
No device icon appears :: The Windows software included in the box is another version of the
old hp scanners software, and I find it umcomfortable ::

Please keep in mind that openSuse 10.3 is obsolete and gets neither bugfixes nor security updates. It is strongly recommended to update to a supported version (currently 11.4 and 12.1).
