ey guys... just got a new Puter....

Beautiful case, AMD64 3400+, 512 megs ram, 400Mhz FSB, Nforce3 chipset, Nvidia FX5700LE Graphics, 2 NICS, 6 USB ports,.

and how much did this monster of a machine cost..... 404 pounds

MD5 sums on a cd image used to take several minutes on my Athlon-tbird 1.3Ghz.

now that take just under a second.

and.... that was running of Knoppix (a 32bit OS)

im currently compiling Gentoo AMD64.

Thats an awesome deal! Did you buy the parts to build the PC yourself or did you buy it ready made?
