How to setup gamepad?

I have logitech thunderpad -gamepad which connects through gameport. Could someone help me to install it properly? I'm currently using gentoo but there shouldn't be big differences in setup process between other distros. Thanks

I don't know the exact answer to this, but if you check the file

Documentation/input/joystick.txt

in your kernel source you see the pad is supposed to work with the 'adi' module. You could try 'modprobe adi' and see what happens. But then I guess whatever application you want to use it with would have to know how to access it.

Thanks for the help. I just had to turn on game port and ADI support from kernel and make some configuring. It's working now.
