How To: Installing ALSA on Fedora Core 1

Here's a how-to I just published on installing ALSA on Fedora Core 1. This is specific to the NVIDIA Nforce soundcard but can really be used by anyone installing ALSA on Fedore Core 1.

Are you able to start jackd running with your onboard sound? If so, what arguments do you have to use?
