How to change IRQ's in Suse

Hi

I am using Suse 9.3 Professional on an Intel Motherbord with onboard VGA and onboard Lan. For some reason Suse allocated IRQ11 to the VGA card and the onboard Lan. The result is that I can not use my network card. There is no option in the BIOS of the Intel M/B to set any IRQ's or disable IRQ for VGA.

My main problem is that I can not ping my network card. Ifconfig only shows my localhost and no ethernet card. lspci shows that both my VGa and my network card is using IRQ 11 and I am geussing that they are conflicting and that is why I can not ping my network card or view it in Ifconfig.

Here is my ifconfig result:

Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:66 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:66 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
RX bytes:4560 (4.4 Kb) TX bytes:4560 (4.4 Kb)

and part of my lspci:

0000:00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: Intel Corporation: Unknown device 544e
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 11

I/O ports at 20e0 [size=8]
Memory at 40000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
Memory at 50280000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256K]
Capabilities: [90] Message Signalled Interrupts: 64bit- Queue=0/0 Enable-
Capabilities: [d0] Power Management version 2

0000:01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation: Unknown device 108b (rev 03)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation: Unknown device 3094
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 11
Memory at 50100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
I/O ports at 1000 [size=32]
Capabilities: [c8] Power Management version 2
Capabilities: [d0] Message Signalled Interrupts: 64bit+ Queue=0/0 Enable-
Capabilities: [e0] #10 [0001]

Is this the reason why my network card is not listed in ifconfig? And if it is the reason, is there any way to change the IRQ of the network card or VGA in Suse? I have tried module options of the network card in network devices and put the string irq=10 io=0x300 (just a geuss) into the options label, but it did nothing even after I have rebooted.

Any help with this plz

Updated driver helped

I downloaded the newest driver from Intel for the ethernet adapter and it seems to work fine now. It gave the ethernet an IRQ of 74. It still show it as an unknow device: "Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation: Unknown device 108b ", but I can ping my server and Samba seems to be up and running.

I still want to know how you can change the IRQ's in Suse, as it seems to me that Suse assigns the IRQ's itself.
